Originally from the state of Delaware, Amy Noel began playing with a church group when she was 14 years old. She has played in many places, including Kaua’i, Las Vegas, PA and NY, Madison Indiana, and is currently on the move to Florida for music.
Her dear friend, Dan, called her “The Famous Amy Noel”. After his passing, Amy chose to contine to be known as “The Famous Amy Noel” to honor his memory and to bring awareness to suicide prevention, her inspiration for music in the healing. Trauma connects people, not love. When you connect, then there can be sympathy, empathy, love, etc. And there is no doubt, music heals. Amy says, “Life is about connecting, so if you think of someone out of the blue, send them some aloha or a think of you text, because you never know what it could mean.”
Inspired by Whitney Houston, Gloria Estefan, Janis Joplin, Grace Slick, Tina Turner, Tracy Chapman, Joni Mitchell, Stones, Led Zeppelin, and MUCH MUCH more. Amy has a story and blues style completely unique: and that is beautiful. Her soulful voice comes through with a passion and joy you can feel.
“The whole intention behind the music of SHIFT is healing. To sing, create, and play music: creating a space of healing. As a sound healer and Reiki Master, I know sound heals, music heals, and intentions are everything.
